Wedding Photography Preview – Kelly and Ben

I think the whole country had a heat wave on Saturday and Kelly and Ben’s Wedding in Cambridge was no exception. The Temple is a lovely intimate venue, where the grounds get the sun ALL day and evening!

This sneaky peek was taken at 7.30pm and as you can see the sun was still ever present!

Kelly and Ben are off to Thailand for a couple of weeks, I hope you both have an amazing time, I can’t wait to show you the rest of your images when you get back.

Wedding Photography Preview – Michelle and Jamie, Langdon’s Registry Office

I can’t resist sharing this preview from Saturday’s wedding. The gardens of Langdon’s Registry office were stunning and carpeted in stunning bluebells, and gorgeous light.

Liz and Rob Wedding Photos – Gosfield Hall, Essex

Liz and Rob planned a lovely day at Gosfield Hall and although the weather man said nasty things, he was wrong, and the rain and thunder stayed away!

Because time was tight before their big day we only got to do their Pre Wedding Shoot a few days before, and I am so glad we did. Rob announced that he hates having his picture taken and they were always forced, so we spent some time showing him it doesn’t have to be that way. I was absolutely thrilled when he said at the end of the session, ” I love having my picture taken, that was loads of fun!”

So with great weather and a groom who now loves having his picture taken, oh and not to forget a Vera Wang Wedding dress, it was always going to be a fun day and it really was. Thanks Liz and Rob, for letting me be part of your big day!

Hinchingbrooke House is a lovely venue just outside Huntingdon. Sam and Rico’s pre wedding shoot was the first time I had been there and I was really looking forward to going back for their wedding to capture some more of this lovely intimate venue. We were really lucky with the weather as it was sunny with blue skies most of the afternoon. The great weather we have been enjoying recently seemed to start that day, and long may it continue.

Cambridge Wedding Photographer – Second Shooting at Holdenby House

Just before Christmas I had a great day second shooting with Rebecca Honeywell at Holdenby House, Northamptonshire.

Holdenby House is a stunningly beautiful venue, perfect for intimate winter weddings with, gorgeous large open fires and a cosy atmosphere. As Lucy and Alex were married at 3pm we didn’t get chance to use the beautiful grounds as the light had completely gone by the time the ceremony was over, but I did have a sneaky peek when we arrived and they are lovely.

Lucy and Alex had a real country theme to all the details of their wedding, with feathers of all kinds including some beautiful peacock feathers.

Here are a few images from the day:

The stunning Holdenby House

How inviting is that chair by the fire place??! It has a really intimate homely feel with all those photos on the book shelves don’t you think?

The bridal preparation room is also stunning, with a beautiful white wrought iron four poster bed, and white floor boards:

I love the crystal buttons! If you have little loops to go over buttons on your wedding dress, invest in a crochet hook it really helps!

Lucy, so beautiful, radiant and full of excitement.
