I recently spent the afternoon with Ellen, Peter and baby Charlotte at their beautiful home. Charlotte is a bouncing 3 months, and a real cutie.
Unfortunately she used most of smiles when I arrived, instead of saving them for the camera. Ellen thinks probably because both her and Peter speak to Charlotte in Dutch and I came in speaking english and sounding very different.
A model in the making Charlotte has the ability to look very hard at the camera with a serious face.
Ellen and Peter wanted me to capture some natural shots of the 3 of them at home and to record Charlotte as she was then. She has already changed so much.

As you will know from the recent posting of Maja and Toby’s Wedding Album, it was a special birthday for my mum recently and she asked me to take some photos to record the event.
We had her party at the FABULOUS Tournedos Restaurant in Taunton. The food was was amazing and the service out of this world. The staff really got in the party spirit and kept everyone fully entertained throughout the evening. This included dressing up in a Clown costume and a wedding dress. (There was me thinking it was just a party and a wedding dress appears!)

Lily, from under the table, was confused about why I can stand on a chair and she can’t! (She had a thoughly fabulous weekend having had her stitches out before we left to travel south. She was spoilt by everyone and they all, surprise surprise, loved her!)
So moving onto the big party, we headed over to Tournedos Restaurant
Tornedos had their own unique gift for the birthday girl.
As the evening went on they would come out and give some interesting head gear to members of the party to wear, which made for much hilarity.
Then there were the outfits that came with the birthday cake.
And not forgetting, to my surprise, a bride!
Mum, thank you for all your support, the never failing listening ear, the unwaivering support and the unconditional love. Oh and the fantastic little kiss pouches you makes for my clients! We love you x.

I have had to wait to share this album with you as I wasn’t able to give it to Maja and Toby until the other weekend at my Mum’s big birthday bash. (More of that later in another blog post!)
Maja and Toby choose a stunning black kiss wedding book for their album and it finally arrived. I love to open the kiss album boxes as you can smell the sumptuous leather as soon as you do. This order was extra special as they had ordered a little kiss book of their wedding images for Mum’s birthday. As you will recall from my last kiss book post, Mum Love’s the little kiss books, a lot!

All my albums get a little extra special HayleyRuth Love before they go their new homes. (It’s so hard to let them go as I just want to keep them they look so beautiful)
Unusually I was there with camera in hand to capture their reaction to their album, even though it was an unreasonable 8.30am! Apparently the excitement of a birthday doesn’t fade as you get older, so we all had to be up early for the opening of cards and presents. Maja and Toby hadn’t arrived until midnight the night before so I saved their album for the morning.
I was also able to capture Mum’s surprise and joy at receiving her little kiss book. The knowing look is because as you all know she makes the stunning little Kiss pockets for me, to keep your albums safe, so had an early idea what her present was.
Mum so thrilled to have her very own little kiss album she showed everyone at the big birthday party and they all loved it too. These little Kiss books are infectious, so much so I had some requests to make little albums of holiday snaps and family photographs.
