A couple of weeks ago I met up with Julie and Robert at the Stunning Gaynes Park wedding venue for their engagement shoot.
Julie and Robert are getting married at Gaynes Park at the end of September and this was a great chance for us to explore this lovely intimate venue and for me to catch up with them both on all the details for their day. I never tire of hearing all about everyone’s plans for their big day, it’s always exciting and new as each couple have their own ideas for making it a special day.
The gardens at the venue are in full bloom and the sun was high in the sky, I can’t wait to shoot their wedding here, so without further ado here are a few images from the session:

Well I recieved a very exciting delivery and yet again nearly broke myself getting down the stairs from the office to get to the door to accept it. (I need to learn to calm down coming down those pesky stairs!) All the way from California USA, my new Kiss Wedding Album Samples.
These beautfiul printed books come in the softest leather, with thick flush photo pages that lay flat so you can have prints across the entire page without losing any of the picture and gorgeous dust bags to keep them safe.

This is my 10 x 10 sample, featuring Laura and Iain’s wedding. As red is my favourite colour, Laura had stunning red roses and Kiss offer the amazing redlight red, well, you can guess I chose red for my sample.
Isn’t it lovely.

The pages are so stunning, thick and well just gorgeous!

And here is my little kiss album, these are so cute, and ooze quality, I just couldn’t help but order one of these as well. At 4 x 4 with the same lay flat ability and oh so touchable leather covers, these make great parents or portrait albums, fitting in your bag or pocket so you can take your pictures everywhere with you and share your stunning images with friends and family. To ring the changes I ordered this one in Black and it features pictures from Joe and Sunny’s amazing wedding in Cambridge.

And these are all the lovely colours that kiss albums are available in.

All my clients will now have the option of having a Kiss album, and I am really excited about sharing these with everyone.

You may well remember Pat and Neil from their Engagement shoot back in May where Pat gave me free rein to be creative and I found out all about their love of ducks.
On Saturday Neil’s dad, Peter, married Pat and Neil at North Arbury Church. It was his first wedding at the church and he did a fantastic job. It must be something really special to be the officiant at your child’s wedding, and I am sure pretty nerve racking too, however Peter never let any nerves show and conducted a really lovely service.
Pat’s bridesmaids were her sister Sarah and her friend Jenny who introduced Pat and Neil to each other with a little match making, and she certainly got it right with these two. Both Teachers, they have many things in common, but the thing that strikes me most about these two is the easy comfort they have with each other, beautiful.
Pat and Neil, wishing you all the very best for an amazing future together, thank you for letting me document your day.
So without further ado, here are some images from their special day.
Some of the beautiful detail on Pat’s dress

Bestman Andy had to keep his nerves in check and his hand still so I could get this one.

We might not have had clear blue skies but the white backdrop of the sky here really works to show the Neil patiently waiting for his lovely bride.
During the ceremony conducted by Neil’s dad, Peter.

Here’s a very happy and relaxed Pat. While I was taking some pictures of Neil, Pat had lent against the tree and I managed to turn and get this one.

Family and friends, if you order prints before the end of August you get 10% off (automatically deducted at the checkout).

Last month’s Bronze award in the monthly SWPP competition inspired me to enter another image. The dilemma of which image to enter is always a tough one and it takes me several days to consider which image to enter. You can only enter one image into each catagory, so as I am sure you can image it’s no easy decision.
So which image did I choose? Back in May I had the pleasure of capturing Tom and Carrie’s amazing day at Gosfield Hall, and only last week featured the arrival of their wedding album on the blog.
Well they are back again this week as I am very excited to say my image of Carrie in front of the window has just collected a bronze award in July’s monthly competition for bridal portraiture and here it is:
